GITJ has a firm sense of commitment to both the automotive industry and the society to which it serves and impacts upon. One area already critically important is the recycling of vehicles to minimize impact on our environment. Japan discards more than 4 million vehicles annually. Even with the pending Vehicle Recycling Law, there is still an unacceptable amount of scrap from any given vehicle that does not get reused except as landfill. At GITJ we feel that solutions must come from within our industry - that means from us.
With this in mind, our expert dismantlers are trained to get the most out of each vehicle both as usable parts and scrap for export. We are members of Japan's major professional recycling groups, all working together to maximize use and minimize waste of used vehicles.
